Privacy Policy

What you type into the form. Your name, email address, and phone number, plus your answers to two eligibility questions: whether you worked for American Heritage Lending in California in the past four years, and whether you were paid a salary or commission without overtime. We also record that you agreed to be contacted.

Basic technical detail sent by your browser. The address of the page that referred you to us, and your browser’s user-agent string (which identifies your browser and operating system). This is kept with your submission so we can tell where an inquiry came from.

Anything else you choose to send us. If you call or email, we keep what you tell us.

The form does not ask for, and we do not want, your Social Security number, driver’s license number, bank or payment card details, or health information. Please do not send those through this website.

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not run third-party tracking pixels. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first. If you reached this page by clicking an advertisement, the platform that served it keeps its own record of that click under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

To evaluate whether you may have a claim, to contact you about it, to keep records the California State Bar requires of law firms that advertise, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.

By submitting the form you consent to be contacted by JCL Law Firm, APC by phone, text message, and email about your potential claim. Consent is not required to obtain legal services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or tell us in writing at any time to stop contacting you.

Your submission goes to JCL Law Firm, APCand to the staff working on this matter. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and deliver mail — website hosting, a database, and an email delivery provider — and they may process your information only to provide those services to us.

If your matter would be better handled with counsel licensed in another jurisdiction, we may share your information with co-counsel, and we will tell you before we do.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it otherwise only when the law requires it.

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to evaluate and, if applicable, pursue the matter, and afterwards for the period the California Rules of Professional Conduct and other recordkeeping rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see your rights below — and we will unless a legal or ethical obligation requires us to keep it.

The site is served over an encrypted connection and submissions are stored on access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through this form.

This review is directed to people who worked in California, so most people who use this site are California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
• Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions such as our legal and professional recordkeeping duties.
• Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — we do not sell or share it, so there is nothing here to opt out of.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information through this site.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse to review your matter because you made a request.
